These are my tried and true recipes for anyone that is interested. I am a busy mom of three, and a full time student, so I dont have a lot of time to waste in making a lot of things. Goulash


1 lb Ground Beef (browned and drained)
1 medium onion
1 green bell pepper (optional-diced)
1 box elbow noodles
1 can diced tomatoes
1 lg can of tomato sauce


  • Brown the ground beef. Add the onion and pepper, cook for a while with the beef. Boil the box of elbow noodles and drain once the noodles are tender. Combine the beef, onion and green pepper mixture with the noodles. Add the diced tomoatoes (undrained) and the tomato sauce. Simmer until all the flavors are mixed together nicely. Salt and pepper to taste.


Serve with any of these:


  • Fried potatoes
  • Green Beans
  • Cheddar Bay Biscuits (homemade recipe posted last week)
  • Garlic Bread
  • Bread and butter
